Costume Standards for the Sash Belt version of Asajj Ventress






An Asajj Ventress (Sash Belt Version) Costume Must Have:
(These costume elements are required.)


Bald Head:
* The costumer's hair must be shaved or covered with a tight-fitting bald cap.


Makeup:
* The costumer's head, neck, and hands must be very pale, with a grayish or white tone.
* Black triangular "tattoo" designs are located over and in front of the ears. There are four triangles pointing downward over the ears, and two triangles pointing forward in front of the ears.
* Black makeup may be used to encircle the eyes.
* The lipstick is dark gray or black.






Shirt:
* The form-fitting shirt must have long sleeves.
* The shirt should be made of an off-white or pale gray matte stretch material. Slightly darker gray stripes may be included.
* Princess seams divide the front and back of the shirt into three sections each.
* Horizontal line patterns must be designed into the shirt. These stripes may be present on just the front and back center panels and the arms, or they may be used over the entire shirt.
* Gray piping may be used to accentuate the princess seams and horizontal bands on the front of the shirt.



Collar:
* The collar is made of a black or gray gloss leather or leatherette material.
* The collar has a pattern of horizontal lines that encircle the shoulders and neck.
* The neck of the collar is high and form fitting.
* The outer edge of the collar should reach midway across the shoulders. The edges must be connected securely against the shirt, and should not hang loosely.








Forearm Wraps:
* The forearm wraps should be made of the same material as the collar.
* The wraps extend from the wrists to just below the elbows.


Gloves:
* The hands may be left bare, or gloves the same color as the forearm wraps may be worn.
* If worn, the top edge of the gloves must be hidden beneath the forearm wraps.






Leggings:
* The form-fitting leggings should be the same off-white or pale gray as the shirt.


Boots:
* The boots are black, and may be knee high or thigh high.



Skirt:
* The wide, flowing skirt is approximately ankle length.
* The skirt is very dark gray or black.
* The skirt is designed in two sections. The back section covers the back and sides. The front section is narrow, but still very full. The front of the skirt may open over the front of each thigh, revealing the leggings beneath.



Sash Belt:
* The belt must have a diamond pattern that is off-white and gray or blue-gray in color.
* A single patterned belt encircles the waist. This belt should be wide in the back, and should taper to a narrow width in the front.
* Two sash pieces hang from the front of the belt. Both should include the diamond pattern, and both should be floor length.
* The front buckle is a large round medallion. The buckle should be metallic silver, and should include a decorative pattern.
* A pair of black leather belts with silver accents may be draped to hang over the upper thighs on each side. These would be attached to the patterned belt at the center front and center back.









An Asajj Ventress (Sash Belt Version) Costume Should Have:

Lightsabers:
* The twin hilts should resemble the established curved design for Asajj Ventress. They may be attached together into a double saber design, or they may be worn and carried seperately.
* If the lighsabers have blades, the blades must be red in color.
