This is all looking really good! The bracers are much improved over the previous versions.
I found the collar to be the most difficult part of the costume to create and make fit properly. And yeah, I think you'll have no choice but to sew it to the shirt in order to make it snug up right without any gaps.
It might be showing this way just for the pictures, but I would suggest applying a layer of foundation makeup to the bald cap before applying the grey to even out the colouring.
Are you debuting your Ventress at a convention this weekend?

Yes indeed I am debuting her this weekend for the Durham Life and Sciences Museum Event. They have an event called 'Heroes, Villains and Special Effects' and I figured she'd be perfect for it.
The pictures really don't show the make-up too well. I'll have to see if I can get better ones on Saturday. I did put a layer of foundation on and then the grey on top of it. You can't see it too well but the edge was giving me all sorts of problems. I think I've figured out what to do now as I didn't apply acetone to the front egde to help blend it in before the latex was applied. So hopefully I can get it right tomorrow. If not.. there's supposed to be a make-up specialist there that I can ask pointers from.

Lisa-
As I said before on the Garrison site the transformation is incredible. I love this costume. Outstanding work.

I know its been a few months since I've posted updates. Holidays were a bit busy for me.
Things I've touched up on the AOTC version...
- Remade the shoulders and attached them to the bodysuit.
- Remade the belt in a less shiny material
- Remade the skirt with pleats instead of gathered. Attached a small piece of velcro behind the buckle to keep it from sliding down.
Other than getting a photo in make-up I think this one is ready for submission. Opinions? Comments? Suggestions for improvements?

I really like youre shirt
I also like the skirt with the overskirt. It looks very flowing and full.
Don't forget to post pictures when you have done the total make-up
Good job!!

For what it's worth, only two things jump out at me:
The collar is a touch long in my opinion, I would shorten it by removing the bottom-most band.
The sleeves seem a little loose around the arms and I would snug them up a bit.
Looking good!

Kath-
Both of those are easy to fix. Now that you point out the sleeves.. I can't believe I didn't see that before.
Thanks,
Lisa

Well.. Finally got approved with the small changes that were suggested! A few photos of the full outfit from a recent Con in March as well.

Congrats, looks great. Do share more pictures as they become available. Curious I can't see them did you put on the tattoos?

Included are my submission photos so you can see front, back, and sides. http://s570.photobucket.com/albums/ss14 ... /Ventress/I need to add some new ones of the white version as well as its almost done. Just need to add the collar that we all love and adore, some touches to the skirt to keep it on my waist without a pin and redo the front panels in a lighter leather so its not a safety hazard anymore.

OK, cool, the ones above the ear were just further back than I'm used to seeing them, but their size and position varied quite a bit in the various references. This one is my favorite:
