S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl finally launched earlier this month after many a delay pushed the game’s release back more than once, and now that it’s here, developers GSC Game World are working on cleaning up bugs, progression blockers, and more issues. Some early patch notes were shared last week to give an idea of what would be included in the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 update, but the patch itself is actually out as of today for the Xbox and PC platforms, and it’s just as big as that patch preview suggested it’d be.

The full patch notes for this S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 update include fixes for over 650 different bugs and issues, GSC Game World said in the opening for the patch notes. Many of those fixed bugs are unspecified and dealt with different crashes and memory leak issues those on the PC were experiencing while others were more specific like problems that were blocking progression.
