Update version 8.5.0 for Dead by Daylight has today finally gone live across all platforms. Earlier this month, patch 8.5.0 went live in PTB (Public Test Builds) for Dead by Daylight. Since then, players have been putting the update through its paces to ensure that its proper release in the full game wouldn’t come with any issues. Now, Behaviour Interactive has decided that enough testing has been done and has released the update widely.

Downloadable now, update 8.5.0 for Dead by Daylight most notably looks to rework Freddy Krueger, or The Nightmare, as he’s officially called in-game. Virtually every aspect of Krueger’s kit has been overhauled to some degree, which will make him quite different than before. Other than this, the new DBD update also provides smaller tweaks to a handful of other Killers and Survivors. And lastly, a slew of bug fixes have also been pushed out with this patch as well.
